The MusIc Debate

We are not sure whether we want the childs voice singing the nursery rhyme over the top of our music so we have created a table to show our thoughts and feeling to whether it would be a good idea:

 

Advantages	Disadvantages
Adds more depth to our trailer music	It may not sound childish enough
Sound eerie	It may not fit in with the music properly
We’ve created it ourselves	The audience may not understand why a child’s voice is heard
it may fits well with the background music	It may detract from our music
A nursery rhyme is a novel idea
The nursery rhyme contrasts well with the  horror genre

 

From this table you can see that there are more advantages to disadvantages having

 the childs voice in the background of our film. Therefore we have deciced to contiue with the nursery rhyme idea and are developing our own music to fit with the voice of the child.
